Gender Fair Education Program

This program mainstreams the perspectives, values and strategies related to the integration of women’s rights and gender equality and equity in the curricula, teaching, student development and administration at Miriam College.  It also undertakes teacher-training seminars in other  campuses, as well as, research on gender socialization in school systems

Activities include: 

(a) Summer Courses on Gender Fair Education (Basic Education)  and Gender in the Curriculum (Tertiary Level);

(b) Gender Mainstreaming Committee of Miriam College;

(c) Non-Sexist Learning for Male Faculty Members; and

(d) Manuals on Non-Sexist Test Construction, Non-Sexist Language and Gender Stereotypes in Textbooks
