Regional Consultation on the Women's Agenda for Good Governance in the 2010 Elections

The consultation will involve representatives from NGO's local government bodies and agencies, and women's rights advocates. It aims to identify emerging key challenges, threats and constraints on gender and governance issues at the local and regional levels as well as develop a women's agenda for the national elections and regional strategies to address issues on gender and governance. The output of the meeting will be consolidated with the Visayas and Mindanao women's agenda which was held in Cebu and Davao last Februaray 10 and 12, respectively.
